I think I will stick with the BK3 for the time being, as my money may be better spent on a new mixer.

I do have a few old favourite styles which I would like to use, but will need the adjustments you suggested to bring them up to date.

I'm also considering getting an old ipad so that I can use the BK partner app to control the keyboard. The bigger screen will make operation more comfortable I think, especially entering text.

I don't need a large mixer as only need my keyboard and two mic inputs and a reverb for the mic channels. So looking around for that at the moment.

Perhaps powered speakers could work for you? Then you just need a small mini-mixer with some effects.

I use one of these, highly recommended:

BK-9 BK-7m G70. Kurzweil K2500S, Korg Triton. Samick upright piano. iMac 27", HR824 monitors.
