BkPlayer program: Count-in measures #218
Hello Everyone,

I would like to add a count-in measure feature to my BkPlayer program. Is it possible to play a hi-hat (or similar) sound on some known MIDI channel without editing the styles or interfering with the registration settings?

Any ideas would be appreciated...

Hi John,
Sorry I can't help you, but I'm intrigued by the "BkPlayer" program you use, I've searched the web and can't find any info on it, could you please give me some details on it and where you got it from.

Thanks, Keith

Sorry , can't assist with your question.
Your software looks interesting.
I assume it plays Styles - does it have a
Chord Sequencer ?
My BK-7m could do with one!
If you require any Beta Testers
I am happy to assist.

The program doesn't play styles on the PC, it is a chord sequencer. It is designed to allow non-keyboardists to use the Bk, which in my opinion is far superior to PC based style players (at least sound-wise). At the moment, I'm using it for practicing and jamming with friends. I don't perform live, but I may add live performance -friendly tools in the future.

The program isn't ready for beta testing as several key features and functions are still in development, but if you're interested in testing and offering some usage suggestions, let me know. Testing software is tedious, It means learning how the program works without documentation, working around missing or incomplete functionality, entering songs only to find out they aren't compatible with later releases, and re-testing functionality that you've tested before. And above all, not losing interest in a week.

If you're still interested, let me know.

John
