Do you intend to edit the style, or anything? Styles do not need to be copied to have them appear in multiple entries in the Program List (I presume you mean the UPS?). And for each UPG in the UPS List you can alter what volume each Part is or whether it is muted and of course the tempo etc..

But if you want the style to use different sounds, different effects or different amounts of effects etc., then you do have to edit the style in the Makeup Tools and then store the style as a User Style, and link the UPG to that style.

To copy a style, you have to simply rename it and save. Because there is no folder structure inside the My Styles folder (this was fixed in the BK series allowing you to have folders created on a computer, and in the EA7 allowing you to create folders in the arranger itself) you cannot have two styles named exactly the same.

I am still a bit confused, though. Why do you need to copy styles?

Do you mean edited styles in the Styles section (the buttons for 8Beat, 16Beat etc.)? We have an article here: www.roland-arranger.com/index.php/articl...g-the-rom-styles#122 but read the instructions VERY carefully! Because you cannot change the name of the style at all, it is not of much use replacing the ROM styles with totally different ones.

And, as always, make sure you backup the original ROMstyles folder before you proceed, that way if you sell the arranger, you can restore it to factory specs.

Is this what you needed?
