Hello. I would like to sell my Roland E80 Version 2. Anyone have an idea what it would be worth?

That depends on a lot of things... What kind of condition is it in? Gigged out, or smoke-free home? Also, where are you located? Do you have the original packaging materials? The E-80 is a sumo-class arranger. Shipping won't be trivial, and IMO, without the original box and spacers, chances of shipping damage are high.

Smoke-free home, in great condition. No original packing materials. I'm in Palm Beach area. Thanks.

Do you have any extras for it? SRX boards, CF cards or readers? FC7 pedals or expression pedals, etc? Always list those with the arranger, especially as some of them are harder to find these days.

As most arranger users on this site already have Roland’s, I’d suggest posting at Synthzone General Arranger forum to open up your potential market, as well as the obvious alternatives of eBay, Craigslist etc..

Be realistic, though. Yes, the E80 was a VERY expensive arranger when new, but is largely outperformed by many far less expensive (and far lighter!) MOTL modern arrangers. Technology drives the arranger market, and things move forward quickly. The little BK-7m module had pretty much the entire E80 sound-set (minus the SRX expandability) and far better audio capabilities.

What are your future plans? If build quality and ergonomics are important to you, you might be hard pressed to find something modern that is built as well as that E80... and for what little (compared to new) you can get for your E80, you might want to consider simply adding something like a mid priced Yamaha or an EA7 to make a nice two keyboard rig.

Thanks so much for the info. I also already have a Yamaha Tryos 4 in which I love. I listed the Roland on Craigslist and Offerup just to see.

If not already sold, feel free to list it here as well. Did you determine a price?
