Thank you.

Translation:

Wernermusik:
Hello, I'm new here!
I would like to buy a used Roland E-80, but only if there is a manual in German. I did not find anything in the net ...
Does anyone have a tip on where I could get this manual in German?

Is there a Roland forum in German?
Willem52:
English is spoken here alone:

[posted link to manual]
Wernermusik:
I thank you warmly, if not in English!
I had searched the whole net, but found nothing. May I ask you a question ???
I would like to work with the E-80 Midifiles and save the edited Midifiles as Wave or Mp3 and export to my tablet to accompany me on the guitar. Lt. The manual is only a storage in Midifile format possible, or have I read something? In this case, the E-80 would not be right for me ...

Otherwise, a note to the forum: I'm a bit disappointed. Roland wants to sell his keyboards but also in Germany - right? So what could be better than offering a forum in German? I do not think about attending an English course at the age of 60, which does not teach you the required terms! This is as a suggestion to the moderators with the request to pass this on to the "high lords" at Roland. Thank you!
Willem52:
The E-80 can work alone with SMF (Standard Midi File).
Some newer Roland Arrangers can also work with .wav.

In OS version 3, mp3 can be played.

Roland had a big German forum, but that was closed
when Roland changed his organization.
Wernermusik:
OK thank you. Then I will probably not buy it - too bad!

Greetings and good time!
Werner

Hallo Bill,

TRanslation message #92:

Hi Bill,
Could you just translate one last time, please?

Can I use the PC to record the entire audio and micro signal (Backingchor) of the E-80 and then create a wave or MP3 file on the PC? I want to create playbacks, play in the ipad and play with the guitar...

The reason I believe English was chosen as the official language here (the admin/owner is Swedish!) is that is spoken or taught and read more widely than almost any other language. We are NOT an official Roland forum, this is a USER forum, so no point getting mad at Roland!

Our membership comes from all over the world, not just America and the UK (and Canada and Australia and New Zealand, etc.!), picking ONE language made sense.

Feel free to try Google Translate or some other translation program.

I have the E80 manual in German, but it is a scan, rather than a text, so the size is larger than the forum (or my email!) can accommodate (91MB). If you are still interested, here is the URL: cms-rgm.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/E-80.pdf

I am not sure why you had such a problem finding it. I typed 'Roland E80 manual german' into Google, it was the second hit...

Yeah Willem, noticed that a bit late!

Still confused how the OP didn't get this as a hit on Google...
