ROLAND E-A7 Soundfont import #841
A soundfont contains often many, many samples.
It cannot be imported as a whole, that is not possible in this Arranger.
You can extract several single samples and import those.

Roland E-80 V2.03 + SRX-06 + SR-G01, FC-7, PK-5, SC-8820 and EMU Xboard61.

I'd try a call to your local Roland Tech Support or a support email to their Tech Support online.

I have to admit, looking at the E-A7's sampler is like going back to the 80's! The early 80's, at that!

Roland seriously messed up leaving the E-A7 with no legacy multisample import, not even their own Roland format (from the S series) despite promising these when first launched. And doubly messed up by not allowing Aira sample sets to be imported, which they give away for free in the FA series.

Very few people have the technical skills, patience and equipment to assemble a decent quality multisample set, which is why the Soundfont2 and other multisample formats were invented (in the 80's!). So, what you have in the E-A7 is a look back at how things used to be nearly 40 years ago...

Well done, Roland!
