BK9 - Sync start performance? #824
One of my performances is me playing full piano over a midi backing track. (Ballade Pour Adeline)
Am I able to configure the performance so the midi backing starts playing in sync as soon as i hit the first key??
I cant seem to be able to do this... unless I am missing something very obvious..??

Thanks!
Nick

BK9 - Sync start performance? #826
No... You can start styles by playing the first note, but SMF's and MP3's require either a front panel START or, and in your case probably best solution is to use the Control SW input on the back, and a simple tablet sustain switch (do NOT use a latch-able on/off switch) set to START.

Alternatively, if you have an FC-7, you can set one of those seven switches to START as well.

There is also a trick I use if I want a silent count-in... Use a program to embed a count-in in the Lyrics (say 1-2-3-4 in time), and turn on the lyrics display. Works like a charm!
