No-one here has yet reported using anything like that.

Maybe you'd like to be our guinea-pig?!

If it works, one thing I'd love to see is a 'Lyrics Viewer' that works on phones. The Roland app is iPad only, and for my BK-7m/keytar rig, all I'd want to use is a small iPhone size screen (I'm already used to the small BK-9 screens!). I always feel that the less obvious you make it that you are reading lyrics, the better...

How do you go about getting the apps? Does the Apple Store recognize the connected device as an iPhone/iPad?

Fran, did you ever figure this out? You probably aren't monitoring this forum closely, so I will phone you when I get a change.
I know you sold the BK9 to DNJ, and the EA7 ended up with me, but it's only a matter of time before you get another one! :)

Donny got the best deal here..!

TBH, for serious pros, the E-A7 has a few serious shortcomings; the 100 entry Performance List, no Chord Sequencer, no SN sounds, no mic pre, no sequencer, fewer Parts, MFX's etc..

I find it a bit amusing that you guys are so late to the party! I've been singing the BK-9's praises long before it went out of production. If you all were a little little faster off the line, who knows? Roland might still be making them, might even be improving them...
