Back in the day, we used to do this sort of thing using a program called ReCycle. One of the things that ReCycle did was, it would stretch the post-transient part of the sample if you slowed the loop down, and then you could re-export the slices with the extra tail on them. Chopped as tightly as this, you can speed up a style and you don't hear any gaps, but if you slow the style down significantly, the gaps between the slices becomes more apparent.

ReCycle would also export a short MIDI file that had the correct timing of the slices.

Perhaps it is worth seeing if ReCycle www.propellerheads.se/recycle can help make your style audio grooves more usable when you slow a groove/style down...
