Saving midi setup on roland ea7 #646
Hi there. I need to change the midi channels on the "midi" page on the menu of the keyboard. Anyway, also if the manual says that when i change something on the menu, it will remain saved when i go out of the screen, every time I switch off the key, on the follow switch on I need to set the midi channels again. Does anybody know how to fix and save my personal setup for the midi channels to avoid to reset it every time I switch on the key? Thanks.

I no longer have my EA7... I replaced it with the BK9...but you need to locate the MIDI section and save the midi set after you make any changes..

There are two manuals for the EA7 one is the standard manual and the other is a reference manual... they both can be downloaded.. You will easily find what you are looking for in these manuals.

p.8 of the Reference manual explains that the selected User MIDI Set is automatically saved after you select it in the Globals section.

But you will first need to save the User MIDI Set before you select it as a Global setting. p.65 explains how to do that.
