Hi folks. Picked up this little unit at a great price but....Tearing my hair out here trying to get the Roland E60 to act as master to this little micro arranger. I want to play the styles of the Korg with the Roland larger keys vs the mini keys. Yes, I have read the manuals from both companies but so far all I have been able to get is the Roland sounds coming out of the Korg speakers! I have a single midi cable going from Roland out to Korg in. Has anyone got any tips advice?
Thanks,
Brian

Hello,

How do you get the Roland sounds coming out of the Korg's speakers?

If you have connected the MIDI OUT (on Roland) to MIDI IN on (Korg) you should only hear the sounds from the KORG, since only MIDI messages are sent from Roland, not the sounds, unless you connected 1/4 jack cable to the Korg somehow....

You might be be able to control the sounds on the Korg, if you set the right TX (transmission on Roland) and RX (receive on Korg) channels, but to control the arranger part on KORG with the Roland E-60, that's tricky if the Korg wasn't built that way to be controlled by an outside source like the Roland BK-7m and RA-95 arranger modules are.
