It appears that Roland's Lyric Viewer app is iPad only. This is kind of a drag, as I really don't want to haul an iPad around when I have my iPhone and that is sufficient size to see (screen's about the same size as the BK-9 screen I currently use!).
So, are any BK users using an app that will display embedded SMF and MP3 lyrics WITHOUT them actually being the player of the files? In other words, the BK still plays the SMF or MP3, but the lyrics display on the iPhone while hooked together using the Camera Connection Kit and a USB cable.
I'm currently working on setting my BK-7m up as an alternate device for gigs as both a backup to my BK-9 and a way to play small format gigs with my old Yamaha KX-5 keytar, but as the screen will not display my lyrics, I am somewhat at a loss.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry Diiki but i don't see any software /app solution for this.
either a can't think of any trick to sync lyric's between two device's, (use of midi smpt sync?)
I use a 12volt-dvdcar-screen 10" on my bk7m video output!
I only can suggest to build/use a 5volt smallsize display (you found these on the back of many digital-fotocamara's)
you can made it feed by usb.but that is something you have to (hobby) build yourself. 5v,120mA composite tft diplay
available from 1.5"/ 2.0' /3.5"/ect to 7" diagonal <composite PAL/NTSC
