You are going to have considerable problems with some of the E-A7 styles trying to play them on much older arrangers.

a) The E-A7 is chock-o-block full of new ethnic sounds and drumkits that help with all the ethnic styles, and many of them won't sound at ALL like the E-A7 version without them.

b) Several of the new styles use two drumkits on different Parts, and apparently these lock up older Roland's, who only could play one drumkit at a time.

Not that you shouldn't try... But please be aware that some may not play at all, and others won't sound even remotely like the E-A7 version.

The E-A7 is a very affordable new arranger (and you may even be able to find a used one if you look around)... If a lot of Chinese and other Far East styles is important to you, perhaps it is time for that new arranger? B)

Do you know from what arranger these originally came? Always helps to post that (if known) to aid with troubleshooting them...

Dears,
i would like to have your help again if possible, i would make it easy i only need the MAGHREBI styles (in the list from 565 to 600) or just tunisian ones (from 565 to 582 and 592+ 595+ 596)

Thanks again...

What arranger do you intend to play these on? Please note that the E-A7 has an extensive collection of new ethnic drum kits and ethnic Tones that don't exist in other Roland arrangers, so these styles may sound VERY different in an older Roland....

Perhaps one of our members that have the E-A7 and an older BK or G/E series arranger could let us know how well each ethnic group works on older Roland's?

Dears, the Tunisian styles have been uploaded, i would like to thank all of you!
roland-arranger.com/index.php/forum-inde...her-e-a7-owners#5966
unfortunatly, not well working, no drums sounds but such animal sounds and some strange loops... with the correct rhythms....
anyone know why? or how can we correct it?

If you had read the entire thread with the styles, you would have seen that there are MANY new kits and sounds in the E-A7 that you don't have. Plus the BK's can use 2 kits (or more!) and yours can't (you should not be able to read those at all).

So many of the ethnic styles won't work on older Roland arrangers. Without the correct sounds, your chances of getting them to work are low.

You need them that bad, I'd say it's time to get an E-A7!
