Roland BK-7M V1.07 - Performance List Editor 23 May 2016 01:31 #4371

Hi everybody,

This is my first post at the forum. Hope it's right placed ;) . I've the arranger BK-7m that I use witht the FxR8 V- acccordion. I was very happy until I reach a stop.
Is it possible to edit the performance lists created? I found thru the manual that I can change the order of each memory on the performance list that belongs.

I can't find a way to rearrange the memories in different lists.

Suppose you have list with a rythm class order, then you want create a new list that you will use on a live presentation. Would be helpful to create this new list from other memories located on other lists. I did't find a way to do it.

I found a third party software but works with firmware version 1.6 and 1.7 only

Do you have any suggestion to do tyhe job?

Regards!!!

Hi, I use the same setup. There are two editors I know of:

- peterjazz.com/blog/?p=24, but it seems the links are broken.
- www.gfssoft.de/bk7_acc97_with_runtime.html this is the one I use and it works fine with the BK version 1.06 and 1.07. Try the demo first, the software itself is very old fashioned and you have to get used to the logic. Still better than working with performance lists in the mini display of the BK.

I don't really understand your comment regarding the versions of the BK. If you don't have the latest firmware, which is V1.07 you should download from the Roland page: www.rolandus.com/support/by_product/bk-7m/updates_drivers/6223

AFAIK, v1.07 only added the ability to sync to the Roland iPad apps. But may very well be needed to use the PC apps too.

Unfortunately, it didn't add the ability to edit your Performance List as extensively as newer ones can (copy/paste is what you need to move Performances around faster than one at a time, and that never made it to the BK-7m  ), but I would still go ahead and install. You never really know what Roland do 'under the hood', sometimes!

I work with GESINI (www.gesini.com) and I am very satisfied with it. GESINI is PC based (Windows) and can much more than "only" performance lists......

Hi
I personnaly work intensively with PeterJazz's editor, the only freeware one.
A few bugs (but you soon get used to them and there are some workarounds)
I appreciate its simplicity, you can go directly to creating a perf from a template, and very very quickly renaming, sorting and editing main parameters.
I'm currently trying to convince Peter to go on with new features..... I let you know if it manage to do it !
